Position Summary
Management of delivery of next generation components and technologies to all Residential HVAC and Refrigeration business units as a member of both the Business and Engineering organizations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage portfolio of deliverables for new and improved technologies for insertion into BU product platforms globally.
  • Monitor and drive execution of NG technology programs
  • Ensure effective transition of evolutionary technologies into next generation products; in terms of synergies, schedule and customer value
  • Communication of timelines and status to key stakeholders
  • Maintain alignment within Product Mgt, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations
  • Collaboratively refine planning and alignment processes, respond to changing business and organizational needs
  • Promote the use of common components and design tools
  • Establish and track R&D investments against financial plan
  • Common interface between technology groups and all commercial business units

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field, advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
  • 15+ years of research or industry experience, HVACR industry a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large global programs
  • Strong communication and ability to work in a large matrix environment
