The Client Engagement Head is responsible for managing the Small Footprint and Buildings practices for EcoEnergy. They will lead a team of professionals that assist clients by providing energy efficiency solutions and monitoring client energy consumption across several industries including food services, hotels, banking, and public buildings. Along with managing this team, they will oversee multiple client accounts, acts as a direct point of contact, leads pre-sales teams, leads solution designs and the Energy Operations Center for potential customers, trains team members on advanced techniques, creates and presents proposals to potential clients, reviews and analyzes client energy programs, and reviews the deliverables for each account.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivery Management (20%)

  • Managing delivery parameters and drive operational efficiencies;
  • Managing deliverables and quality for different programs;
  • Performing technical reviews for strategy and architecture;
  • Providing direction to different managers on technical deliveries;
  • Managing risks and issues across projects which impacts the delivery;
  • Identifying action plan to optimize the delivery parameters;
  • Coordinating and communicating the delivery parameters to the key stakeholders;
  • Directing delivery of services per contract;
  • Reviewing the savings achievements for different programs with project managers;
  • Managing contract scope and schedules;
  • Reviewing the contingency plans with managers and approving the same;
  • Approving the change requests for different programs;
  • Approving purchase requisitions and purchase orders to be issued to approved partners for different clients;
  • Supervising performance reporting;
  • Approving resource planning and on-boarding;
  • Managing client escalations and risk mitigation; and
  • Creating and fulfilling new opportunities and projects with clients.
Business Development and Pre-Sales (15%)
  • Engaging in new business development for EcoEnergy Sales teams;
  • Working within EcoEnergy practices and COEs for developing solutions;
  • Working with Sales Teams to develop strategic plans for business growth for EcoEnergy in the North America Region;
  • Mentoring pre-sales team to create innovative and tailor-made solutions and proposals for potential customers in the North America region;
  • Approving scope of services for different food service, retail banking, and commercial buildings customers while creating master service agreements with customers;
  • Directing the sales and presales teams to create different business models and financial models for potential customers; and
  • Approving authority for financial and business models for his customers.
Process Management (15%)
  • Managing project planning and deliverables;
  • Presenting Business Review sessions with key stakeholders;
  • Identifying and agreeing on the Business Metrics that will be reviewed as part of the Business review sessions;
  • Presenting strategic presentation to key stakeholders including business teams, solutions teams, platform teams, and Energy Operations Center (EOC) teams;
  • Identifying the process benefits to be achieved with programs;
  • Identifying objectives that needs to be met to meet the benefits;
  • Reviewing and approving the Energy Savings Measurement & Verification process for different customers in North America;
  • Conducting Monthly review sessions; and
  • Publishing the improvements and benefits achievement progress summary.
Solution Architecture & Design Management (15%)
  • Acting as design authority for hardware and software solutions for the practice;
  • Directing cross functional teams on value engineering programs for existing hardware solutions;
  • Reviewing and approving the tailor-made energy management solution architecture for North American customers;
  • Approving new supply partners for hardware based on evaluation reports created by team members;
  • Reviewing and approving different hardware options; and
  • Reviewing functional requirements and provide directions to the platform software team.
Customer Relationship Management (15%)
  • Engaging with client's senior leadership (CXO level) for Key Strategic Initiatives related to Energy management and equipment;
  • Managing and maintaining EcoEnergy relationships for client's Energy management needs;
  • Developing strategic IT roadmap with client teams;
  • Participating in Senior Management connects and reviews;
  • Overseeing improvement of IT Service & Support processes;
  • Directing internal quality management for client services;
  • Managing project and energy saving metrics evaluation; and
  • Overseeing continuous improvements and value innovations in energy savings and operations for clients.
Financial Planning/Budgeting/Management (10%)
  • Managing the budget allocation for the programs;
  • Reviewing the budget usage report on a periodic basis;
  • Governing the action plan identified as part of the review sessions;
  • Directing annual Program revenue planning for EcoEnergy;
  • Supervising periodic tracking and reporting of revenue for each client against plan;
  • Overseeing delivery gross margin target tracking and reporting;
  • Approving the usage of contingency budgets;
  • Directing invoicing, billing and payment tracking; and
  • Directing estimations and planning for new projects.
Personnel Management (10%)
  • Managing the Resource capacity & management needs;
  • Identifying the technical training requirements with managers for their team members;
  • Approving the team training plan;
  • Appraising the performance of direct subordinates;
  • Approving vacations and holidays;
  • Managing conflict resolutions;
  • Conducting annual performance management of all subordinates (direct and indirect);
  • Training and mentoring direct subordinates;
  • Hiring and firing of team members as necessary;
  • Setting up key result areas for team members;
  • Approving bonuses for top performing managers and team members; and
  • Conducting compensation reviews for each team member
