We currently have an opportunity for a National Utility and Regional Requirements Program Manager to join our Ductless and VRF division, under UTC Climate, Controls and Security Residential and Commercial Systems (RCS). This position will be responsible for working with national utility providers and energy groups to determine rebates, product designs and execution of marketing, sales strategies, polices, and programs to achieve Ductless sales goals.

Responsible for Ductless product sales and growth within specific channels
Determine which utilities offer Rebates, Incentives and/or Financing for HVAC
Work with utilities to educate their Customer Service team to discuss Ductless with their home owners.
Develop a utility showroom display for homeowners
Develop and manage joint growth strategies with Carrier Sales Team, Distribution, Reps and DSOs to take advantage of national utility rebate programs
Support Distribution, DSOs, and Reps to meet their sales targets
Assist the sales channel to ensure satisfied customers
Partner with product management in determining equipment needs that will meet/exceed utility programs and tax incentives
Identify product gaps, develop solutions to minimize the impact, and work with Product Management to prioritize and eliminate gaps
Assist the sales channel, service, and contractors to rapidly take advantage of opportunities
Work with Ductless Marketing team to develop marketing materials to communicate Single Family and Multifamily messages to identify opportunities and devise strategies for maximum growth and increased market share
Build consultative relationships and trust with Distribution, DSOs, and Reps
Responsible for compiling competitive product and pricing data relative to job quotes and market pricing
Contributes to their team or department by applying their knowledge of one or more functional areas
Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or direction from others
Has in depth knowledge of the discipline and role| TYPICAL EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS degree w/2-4 years experience
MA/MS degree w/1-3 years experience| KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
2-4 years sales experience working with and/or selling to utility companies, distributors and proven ability to meet consumer and customer requirements
Minimum 2-4 years of sales experience in HVAC or related industry in professional positions with increasing responsibility
Proven history of rapid sales growth with satisfied customers
Knowledgeable about Ductless products (operation, design guidelines, accessories)
Thorough understanding of market place dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitors programs
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources and synthesize in both graphic and verbal format, so that it is easily understood by the target audience
Strong public speaking and verbal presentation skills
Proven capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience
Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities
Superior follow-up and follow-through skills
Able to work and communicate with multiple levels of positions within Distribution (Counter Sales Associates, Inside Sales Reps, Outside Sales TMs, Sales Managers and Owner/Principal)
